Dusit Thani Bangkok

After celebrating its 49th anniversary, Dusit Thani Bangkok closed its doors in 2019 to undergo a transformative redevelopment as the heart of Dusit Central Park, a new mixed-use landmark. Following a 5 year renovation, the new hotel is set to redefine luxury in the Thai capital. The 39-storey tower features 259 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites, all starting from a generous 50 square metres, making them among the most spacious in the city and promising a heightened sense of space and serenity. In addition, to ensure a consistently high standard of experience for every guest, every room is guaranteed a direct, unobstructed view of Lumpini Park, framed by oversized four-metre-long windows. Honouring its heritage, Dusit Thani has preserved its most iconic feature, the original golden spire, which will be reinstated atop the new structure. This striking emblem serves as a symbolic bridge between the brand’s storied past and its bold new future. Designed as a complete urban destination, the property features a large pillarless grand ballroom with panoramic views of Lumpini Park, a collection of world-class dining venues, and a state-of-the-art wellness centre. It also enjoys seamless connectivity via direct indoor access to the new Central Park luxury mall, which in turn links to the interchange of the BTS Skytrain and MRT subway lines.

Dusit Thani Kyoto

Kyoto  •  Japan
Dusit Thani Kyoto marks the triumphant debut of Thailand’s legendary Dusit International in Japan, blending the warmth of Thai 'Gracious Hospitality' with the precision of Japanese 'Omotenashi'. Ideally situated in the Shimogyo ward, just a short walk from Kyoto Station and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Nishi Honganji, the hotel serves as a serene urban sanctuary. The architecture respectfully integrates into the historic neighborhood, while the interiors reveal a sophisticated dialogue between cultures: the graceful curves inspired by Ayutthaya’s chedis meld seamlessly with traditional Kyoto craftsmanship around a central Japanese courtyard garden that shifts with the seasons. The 147 guest rooms and suites are sanctuaries of calm, featuring deep soaking tubs and refined amenities like proprietary Matcha Milk Beans.

Culinary excellence is a pillar of the experience, highlighted by the signature restaurant Ayatana, which recently earned a Michelin Key and 'Thai Select' certification. Here, Thai flavors are elevated through the lens of Japanese Shojin Ryori philosophy. Guests can also indulge in seasonal Teppanyaki and Edomae sushi at Chef’s Table Kōyō, or enjoy organic tea from the hotel’s own Wazuka plantation at the Tea Salon. For holistic rejuvenation, Devarana Wellness offers ancient Thai massage therapies and a rare indoor pool, solidifying Dusit Thani Kyoto as a unique destination where two distinct heritages harmoniously converge.
