Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea

Set against the dramatic backdrop of desert plains and the Hijaz Mountains, Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea marks a pioneering chapter in Saudi Arabia's ambitious Red Sea project. The resort is strategically located along the historic incense trade route, drawing its architectural inspiration directly from the region's Nabataean heritage. Its structures are designed to blend seamlessly with the majestic desert landscape, creating a property that feels both timeless and deeply connected to its environment. The resort comprises a central "Oasis" building surrounded by 36 guest rooms and 40 secluded pool villas. Interiors reflect the surrounding dunes' tones and textures, with soft furnishings echoing the rich patterns of traditional Bedouin dress. Wellness is central to the experience, embodied by the expansive 3,974-square-meter Six Senses Spa. Arranged over two floors, it features a state-of-the-art gym with panoramic desert views and a lower level dedicated to treatments and hydrotherapy, including deep cold pools that contrast with the desert heat. Local ingredients, such as frankincense, are integrated into treatments, paying homage to the location's history. The culinary program is conceived as a journey along the same ancient trade route, with multiple venues offering distinct experiences. These range from an all-day dining restaurant focused on well-being to a signature restaurant serving authentic flavors from across the Middle East, all guided by the brand's 'Eat With Six Senses' philosophy.

Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve

Within a secluded archipelago in the bountiful Red Sea, a story thousands of years old is waiting to be told. Born from the stars of the infinite sky above and the colorful reef below, Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve carries on the traditions of those who traveled across uncharted territory to discover pristine natural beauty, rich cultural heritage and flavors as vivid as the sea itself. Surrounded by crystal-clear water and soft white sand, Nujuma is an unspoiled sanctuary where exploration unveils a constellation of unforgettable experiences.

Set amid the soft white sand or perched above the azure sea, villas mirror their surroundings with shell-inspired structures and interiors finished with found objects, local art and colors, textures and materials that borrow from nature. Designed to offer both elevated privacy and direct access to the outdoors, each of the 63 villas features panoramic windows, open living space, a sea-view pool and a telescope to discover Saudi Arabia’s enchanting star-filled sky.
