PARKROYAL COLLECTION
Pan Pacific Hotels Group
PARKROYAL COLLECTION recasts the urban hotel as a living ecosystem: facades draped in jungle greenery, lobbies perfumed with its signature “Passion for Nature” scent, and rooms that shift from boardroom to spa via circadian lighting and an in-room Sleep Ritual. The movement began in Singapore, where PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering wraps more than 15,000 m² of sky gardens, reflecting pools and waterfalls around its guest wings, all nourished by harvested rainwater; a rooftop field of 262 solar panels feeds clean power back into the grid while guests forage basil on the hotel’s urban farm for a noon cook-along. Across the bay, its Marina Bay sister expands the farm to 60 edible varieties, transforming harvests into herb-infused spa treatments and zero-waste cocktails that turn pineapple skins into house rum.

The brand’s green DNA now anchors new skylines. In Kuala Lumpur, a 1990s office block has been reborn as a 13,000-sq-ft living wall fronting 527 rooms; biodegradable amenities, filtered drinking taps and an AI food-waste digester push the property toward near-closed-loop operations. Under the Inspiringly Yours programme, weddings unfold on orchid-scented terraces with potted blooms in place of cut flowers, and carbon-neutral conferences fund regional mangrove plantings.
