Six Senses AMAALA

Six Senses AMAALA opens on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, the second resort within AMAALA, a regenerative destination in Triple Bay, arriving July 2026. Developer Red Sea Global has set aside 4,144 square kilometers of protected coastline, all on renewable power. Architects U+A, with interiors by Studio Carter, laid a low-rise village into the desert mountains and mangrove lagoon from local materials; its 100 suites and villas and 25 branded residences look grown from the site. Bay-side suites open to the beach and family pool; lagoon-side villas face still mangrove water, steps from the spa. Suites start at 102 square meters, villas reaching 669, floor-to-ceiling glass pulling the lagoon indoors. Earthy walls, warm wood, and handcrafted textiles keep the rooms in the rhythm of the Red Sea.

Wellbeing is the real center. The Six Senses Spa hides in a private cove, an oasis among the dunes, treatment rooms opening onto terraces above the lagoon. A Watsu pool, a sound dome, and a hammam each a different sensory register, while the Longevity Center brings cryotherapy, PEMF, and biohacking to programs for sleep, detox, and Ayurveda. Dining follows the Eat With Six Senses philosophy, herbs from the garden and bread baked on site. Because this is Saudi Arabia, the drinks list is rewritten alcohol-free: ferments, kombucha, cold-pressed juices, botanical infusions. Atop the clifftop Mesa, Soraya folds Japanese precision into Latin American warmth for the day's most deliberate meal. Mornings might mean a mangrove boardwalk, an Earth Lab session, or a sail from the Yacht Club. A resort that treats rest as a journey, for anyone ready to slow down and recalibrate.
