Miraval The Red Sea, located on the southern tip of Shura Island, marks the Miraval brand's first international expansion outside the United States in its 30-year history and stands as Saudi Arabia's inaugural adults-only, all-inclusive luxury wellness resort. Situated at the core of The Red Sea Project and easily accessible from the Red Sea International Airport (RSI), the property is surrounded by protected mangroves and pristine coastlines. The architecture, helmed by Foster + Partners, draws inspiration from naturally weathered driftwood and coral reefs. Rockwell Group handles the interior design, utilizing terracotta rammed-earth walls and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows to seamlessly draw the Red Sea landscape indoors. The 180 rooms, suites, and villas are outfitted with soft color palettes and natural fabrics, complete with meditation cushions and Himalayan singing bowls to echo the brand’s signature Miraval Mode digital detox philosophy.
Spanning 3,000 square meters, the Life in Balance Spa is the largest wellness facility on Shura Island, featuring 39 treatment rooms and dedicated Watsu aquatic therapy pools. The all-day dining venue Rosemary utilizes farm-to-table local ingredients to serve nutritious meals fusing Mediterranean and Saudi flavors. Palm Court Cafe focuses on herbal teas and artisanal mocktails; Coral Cove offers sunset tapas; and the Life in Balance Culinary Kitchen provides an interactive culinary learning space for guests.
